Arts & Crafts period stained pine pocket watch stand, modelled after Edward I’s Coronation Chair (c. 1297-1300). Removable slide seat. The frieze has been decorated as the Stone of Scone. Interestingly, the original Coronation Chair is the oldest dated piece of English furniture made by a known artist, in this case Walter of Durham. 20cm high.
